Jimsonweed Studios develops and produces original stories while bringing production, post-production, technology and professional education together within one connected creative structure.
Why this structure
Creative work becomes stronger when knowledge can move between disciplines without losing context.
Jimsonweed was created to develop original films, series and audiovisual projects and carry them from the first idea through production and final delivery.
The same creative and technical structure allows us to collaborate with selected partners through integrated production and post-production services — from planning, budgeting and shooting through VFX, editorial, colour, sound, finishing and mastering.
Education completes the system by transforming professional practice into training, experience and real pathways into the industry. It helps us identify, develop and build the teams that will take part in future productions.

A permanent production base in Asturias
Development, production and post-production connected within the CEPA audiovisual centre.
Jimsonweed Studios operates from the north wing of the CEPA, Centro de Enseñanza y Producción Audiovisual in Tudela de Agüeria, Oviedo. Our permanent studio environment is directly connected to professional sound stages and shared production facilities within the same building, allowing projects to move naturally between development, shooting and post-production.
From this base, we can support not only digital production and post-production, but the wider requirements of an audiovisual production, bringing together creative supervision, production management, technical teams, shooting infrastructure and final delivery through one coordinated workflow.
Our own data center and scalable production infrastructure connect on-site and remote teams, allowing the studio to expand around the needs of each project without fragmenting creative or technical responsibility.
