In developmentCrime Thriller // Character Drama

Raised in an affluent family in northern Spain, a young man travels to California to pursue an MBA and follow the future designed for him, but somewhere between expectation and reinvention, he walks away from that life.

He begins living between his van and a small room inside a gym, earning his place by cleaning and helping around the building. By day, he trains, surfs and survives with almost nothing. At night, he crosses into an entirely different Los Angeles.

Having grown up around wealth, he understands its architecture, habits and blind spots. He knows how privileged families live, and how to enter their homes without being seen. Working completely alone, he begins stealing from mansions whose owners possess so much that many never realise anything is missing.

Everything he takes accumulates inside an anonymous storage container: a hidden monument to the lives he has entered and the identity he has abandoned. As the value of the stolen objects grows into the millions, the FBI searches for a criminal without a face, an accomplice or an obvious pattern.

Inspired by an extraordinary true story, XOLO is a sophisticated crime thriller about privilege, identity and the dangerous freedom of becoming invisible.
