Carolina Jiménez García

Carolina Jiménez García is a VFX and layout artist with an internationally recognised career. Originally trained as an architect, she found in cinema a language for building worlds, sequences and emotion through the digital camera. Her work includes The Hobbit, Prometheus, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Joker, Eternals, Aquaman and Game of Thrones, with studios including Weta Digital, DNEG, Scanline, Image Engine and Pixar Canada.

Her practice sits where visual narrative begins: camera design, spatial planning, character blocking and the connection between layout, lighting, animation and editorial rhythm. She works across animation, hybrid imagery and live-action VFX, bringing a complete view of cinematography and staging to all three Jimsonweed Education programmes.
